Skaneateles High School Named a National Blue Ribbon School!
To Parents, Guardians, Alumni, and the Skaneateles Community,
On October 1st, we held a full student and staff assembly to announce that Skaneateles High School has been officially declared a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School by U.S. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos!
As a National Blue Ribbon School, Skaneateles High School was recognized as an Exemplary High Performing School among the State of New York's highest performing schools, measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests, and a cross-section of other benchmarks, such as our academic programs, activities, and school culture. Skaneateles High School is one of only 349 schools in the entire country to receive this honor for 2018.
We realize that this recognition would not be possible without the outstanding and enthusiastic support that the Skaneateles community provides to our students, families, teachers, and staff members. Thank you for helping us to become one of the best high schools in the United States!
PLEASE NOTE:All student photos taken during the first photo session this fall have been distributed. If you have not received your photos, please e-mail Kara Greene at email@example.com. (Photos taken on Retake Day have not yet arrived.)
