SFCU College Scholarship Program 

The SFCU is offering The James Suriano & Wayne King Community Service Scholarship. This is a needs-based Community Service Scholarship for college bound students or current college students who are members of SFCU to assist them in succeeding academically and socially. SFCU will award one scholarship recipient each year to receive $5,000 annually over their 2–4-year college career.

ANN HARRIS INITIATIVE

The Ann Harris Initiative's mission is to honor the legacy of service, kindness, compassion, and talent that Ann Harris, DVM, has provided to generations of people and their pets in the Central New York area by providing programs and resources to stabilize and revitalize Emergency Veterinary Medicine in the region. 

Educational scholarships of $1,250 per semester (when enrolled full-time) for individuals interested in emergency medicine and pursuing Licensed Veterinary Technician training are available. Tuition reimbursement grants will also be made available to talented LVTs working in emergency medicine.

Mid- Atlantic States Section of the Air and Waste Management Association
2025 Scholarship 

The CNY Chapter of Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) is offering up to $1,500 scholarship for a student enrolled in an environmentally related degree.

CNY STEM SCHOLARSHIP


The CNY Stem Scholarships are designed to support the best and brightest students in the Central New York Region in their quest to pursue STEM fields in college. The scholarships are based on applicants' academic achievements and extracurricular activities, as well as the essay and an interview. Each scholarship provides financial assistance in varying amounts and an internship. Participating companies are encouraged to offer a paid internship opportunity following the student's sophomore year of college.

The Greater Syracuse Section of the Society of Women Engineers Scholarship

The Women Engineers Scholarship is for women starting their college degree in 2025 and be enrolled full time. 

Applicants must reside or go to high school in one of the following counties Cayuga, Cortland, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego.

2025 NYSSFA Mid-State Chapter Scholarship Application
  
The Mid-State Chapter Scholarship is awarded based upon both merit and need.  Scholarships are valued at $2000.00 each. Scholarship applications are evaluated on achievements/accomplishments, involvement, letter of professional intent, recommendation letter, etc. Please review the entire application to make sure you understand all of the requirements. 
 
Eligibility requirements for all applicants 
must be a graduating senior intending to pursue a degree or vocational program in a field related to Facility Management. Building trade schools; most engineering and architecture disciplines do qualify.  If unsure please contact us by email to clarify.

New York Farm Bureau Scholarship
 
The New York Farm Bureau is offering up to $3,000 to high school seniors who will continue their education to prepare for a career connected to the agricultural industry. This includes advancing their education through college or pursuing advanced training in the skilled trades.

The Empire State Potato Growers Scholarship 

The Empire State Potato Growers Inc, annually awards a scholarship for undergraduate students, residing in New York State, pursuing college studies benefiting the agricultural industry.

2025 Junior League 100 Year Annual Scholarship

The Junior League of Syracuse was founded in 1920 and is dedicated to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

The 100 Year Annual Scholarship was established in 2020 to empower women in the Syracuse community by awarding one $2,500 scholarship. The scholarship is intended to further the applicant’s identified career, educational, professional development, and/or voluntarism goals or ambitions.

Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council 207 Scholarship
 
The Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary Scholarship will be awarded to a well-rounded high school senior and/or continuing education adult who has consistently demonstrated a Christian attitude by word and example and has been actively involved in their parish, school or community. He or she should be driven to make a difference in the world while touching the lives of others in a positive way. Two scholarships of $500 each will be awarded.

The applicant must be a member of a Catholic church and meet all of the following criteria:
  • Has been actively involved in their parish, school or community.
  • Has been a positive role model to their peers, younger children and adults.
  • Is a practicing Roman Catholic in a parish in the Diocese of Rochester and attends Mass
  • Is a college-bound high school senior or continuing ed adult
  • Will be enrolled in either a two- or four year accredited educational institution

MMB ACCOUNTING DIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP

MMB + Co. is offering a scholarship opportunity for minority students looking to go into the accounting field. The winner can receive a total award of up to $10,000!! 
The MMB Accounting Diversity Scholarship was created to provide financial assistance to minority students seeking to pursue a career in accounting, as this field has been historically underrepresented by the minority community.
 
MMB will award two, annually renewable $2,000-per-year scholarships. The scholarship can be renewed up to five years for a maximum total award of $10,000 per recipient.
 
To apply for the MMB Accounting Diversity Scholarship:
  • Students must identify with an ethnic minority
  • Students must have applied to or currently attend a college in NYS offering an accounting program that would lead the student to Licensure as a CPA.
  • Students must have accounting as their major field of study.
Scholarship renewals will be based upon maintenance of an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Funds will be paid to the winners for the 2025 Fall semester.

The Scholarship Committee of the Cayuga-Onondaga Retirees of NYSUT (CORN) Scholarships

The Scholarship Committee of the Cayuga-Onondaga Retirees of NYSUT (CORN) will award five CORN General Scholarships this year. Students who are eligible, may apply for one of the scholarships.

Eligibility: To qualify for an award, an applicant must be a graduating senior from a public high school in the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES District and be enrolled or accepted for enrollment in an accredited program or a two-year or four-year institution at the time of the award.

CYBER SERVICE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
 
The Cyber Service Academy scholarship program provides scholarships for students pursuing degrees in cybersecurity and related fields in exchange for service in Department of Defense or Intelligence
Community cybersecurity roles after graduation.

THE CHARTERED PROPERTY CASUALTY UNDERWRITERS (CPCU) SOCIETY SCHOLARSHIPS
 
The Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters (CPCU) Society is a community of credentialed property and casualty insurance professionals who produce excellence through ethical behavior and continued education. The Syracuse Chapter is offering three scholarships. 

This scholarship is pen to all senior high school students planning to attend college in the fall of 2025 as a full time student.

This scholarship is open to all students who are enrolled as a full-time student for the fall of 2025 term in a Risk Management and Insurance Program in Central New York.
