And THE LAKER WAY AWARD for March goes to.....
We’re all doing it, but please join us in congratulating the staff members who were nominated for The Laker Way award for March 2016!
She is welcoming, helpful and friendly to everyone who enters the Counseling Center, from students and parents to members of the staff. She goes above and beyond to reach out to students, even (and maybe especially) those who are not actively seeking assistance with college or career. She sees the potential in everyone and sincerely wants to help all students find the right path. She has helped create a great atmosphere in the Counseling Center and the high school.

I would like to nominate Ron Moore, Alan Stevens, and Peter Hoadley for The Laker Way Award. Within these last 6 months I have never seen the grounds looking so manicured, or heard the continuous praises I hear from the community on how nice the grounds look. Ron, Alan, and Peter are always on top of the snow and ice removal throughout the winter months, and are always there when anything needs to be moved from building to building, or to school events outside of the District.
I would like to nominate Alanna Kramerson for The Laker Way. Alanna has gone out of her way to make sure my transition to Skaneateles went incredibly smoothly. She took, and continues to take, time out of her schedule to make sure I know the intricacies of Skaneateles school life including the ins and outs of the grade keeping programs, how to do report cards, and the intricacies of the AP World curriculum. She has been a phenomenal colleague, a mentor and younger big sister. She has absolutely gone the extra 10% for my students as well as her own.
