Junior Awards/ Honors Convocation

Please consider the following awards that are given at Honors Convocation in the spring of your Junior Year. The colleges listed below accept nominations from our high school for all the various awards. Many of these awards come with significant scholarships attached to them, if the student applies and is accepted to the college. 

STUDENTS MUST FILL OUT AN AWARD NOMINATION FORM. PICK ONE UP IN THE HIGH SCHOOL COUNSELING OFFICE OR DOWNLOAD FROM THIS SITE.
PLEASE BE MINDFUL OF THE DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF THE NOMINATION FORM AND RETURN IT TO THE COUNSELING OFFICE BY THE DEADLINE.

High Point University	Leadership Award	A Critical Reading and Math SAT score between 1220-1600, or a score between 25-36 on the ACT. PSAT and ASPIRE scores will also be accepted for nomination. A high school GPA between 3.45-4.00, unweighted on a 4.0 scale. Leadership and achievement in one or more of the following: extracurricular activities: an area of academic interest, community service, leadership, the arts, athletics, entrepreneurial endeavors or international adventures.
