Judges Needed for Odyssey of the Mind

Please join us as we bring our Region 11 teams back to Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES.

The Region 11 Tournament will be held IN PERSON on March 5 at the Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES Campus.

Our tournament may be small this year, but our teams are very excited to return to competition. Just as we have learned to adjust many facets of our lives during a pandemic, adjustments have been made to our “traditional” tournament. The proposed tournament schedule has individual teams arrive on campus, present their long-term solution, go to Spontaneous and then leave campus. A virtual awards ceremony will be held later in the day.

Judges Training is Wednesday, March 3, 2022, at 5:00 pm at Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES. Dinner and all training materials will be provided.

Please be aware that once you attend training, you are committed to judge on the day of the tournament, since we will be unable to find a trained replacement.

Health and Safety Statement: For the health and safety of all tournament participants, we are following the current guidance established by Cayuga County Department of Public Health and Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES.

Therefore, to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure, ALL participants, including officials, volunteers, and visitors, are required to wear a well-fitting face mask, while inside Cayuga-Onondaga BOCES, except when eating in a designated food area.

Any changes to the current health and safety protocols pertaining to COVID-19, leading up to the Regional Tournament, will be communicated via email.
