Freshman Orientation

 

Dear Parents and Guardians,

I hope this message finds you all well.  I would like to inform all of you about our Freshmen Orientation for this year.  As you all know, this year is going to be different, whether with our hybrid model or remote learning.  In consideration of our current times with this pandemic, we are offering two types of orientations for this freshmen class.  Our first option is for everyone to view our video, available this Wednesday, August 19th, on our website and Facebook.  The video will be a comprehensive packaging of our traditional orientation, highlighting our programs, schedules, resources, etc.  Our second option will be a live orientation on Monday, August 31st.  We will be hosting this orientation in our cafeteria, at 6:00 pm for our Blue team (A-K) and 7:00 pm for our Gold team (L-Z).  During our live orientation, I will cover the content presented in the video, and I will also be available for questions. With the live orientation we need to limit to one parent/guardian per student, per team, due to social distancing guidelines.

We feel that it is important to be able to offer two types of freshmen orientations to meet the needs of our families in the safest ways we can and to meet the comfort levels of everyone to the fullest extent that we can.

We’re looking forward to a great year. No matter what path we take, we will work together to provide the best education for our students.  And welcome, our class of 2024!!
