Look who was "Caught Giving Their Extra Ten Percent"

Each month faculty and staff are asked to nominate a fellow colleague for The Laker Way Award. This month we had 2 recipients: Bernard "Buzzy" Hudgins:I would like to nominate Buzzy for the 110% recognition. Buzzy assisted me whenever asked and went out of his way to help me when needed. Buzz offered a helping hand before being asked.  Buzzy's attitude and sense of humor made working with him a pleasure. He explained things to me that I was unaware of and was a pleasure to be around.  These are a few of the reasons I would like to nominate him for the 110% recognition. Sean Simmons (not shown): Sean went above and beyond to ensure that a group of hard-working students had their final product after having experienced a last minute technology glitch. He worked overtime, reassured myself and the students, and troubleshot until the issue had been resolved. He overwhelmingly demonstrated his willingness and ability to give his extra 10% for the benefit of the faculty and students.
