Skaneateles High School Inducts Class of 2026 into National Honor Society

Skaneateles High School proudly welcomed the newest members of its National Honor Society (NHS) during a recent induction ceremony honoring the Class of 2026.

The National Honor Society recognizes students not only for academic achievement, but also for their character, leadership, service and citizenship.
“NHS was created to recognize students for not only academic achievement, but also character, leadership, service and citizenship,” said High School Principal Michael Caraccio. “From its origins, NHS was never intended to be an award to receive and then place on a shelf. It’s a society you belong to, a commitment you live and a standard you uphold.”

Membership in NHS reflects a student’s dedication to excellence both inside and outside the classroom. Inductees have demonstrated strong scholarship, a commitment to serving others, leadership among peers and integrity in their daily lives.
