District Celebrates World Read Aloud Day

In celebration of World Read Aloud Day, a group of high school students read stories to classes at State Street and Waterman. Each book theme tied in with National Random Acts of Kindness Week (week of February 17th) or Black History Month (February).

On top of that, our high school students were kind enough to answer lots of questions from our little Lakers before and after reading to them!
