Animals--Students participate in the creation of a group newspaper showcasing what has been learned about vertebrates. Students use the media center to research a particular vertebrate using electronic source material and traditional materials. They research the following: classification, environment and adaptations, niche, reproduction, mobility and diet. Directions include the various forms students may choose to synthesize their information to an appropriate newspaper format which may include news stories, feature articles, ads, announcements, classifieds, reviews, advice columns, etc. ...Author: Lisa Kerr
