Scope of assignment

Part I: Honorary Plaque ---------------------------------------------------------------------40 points

a. Create a plaque that honors a woman who has won an Olympic medal for the US.

b. The plaque should display:

1. A picture of the athlete--preferably with her medal

2. The athlete's sport

3. The Olympics in which she participated

4. The athlete's type of medal

c. The plaque should be the size of a sheet of 8 1/2 x 11" paper.

d. All information should be word-processed.

e. The plaque should be colorful and easy to read.

Part II: Fact Sheet --------------------------------------------------------------------------60 points

a. The fact sheet will be handed in to Mrs. King for review.

b. It should contain 10 facts about your athlete, both personal and training information.

c. It should also contain 10 facts about the sport in which the athlete participated.

Note: Attach the word-processed URL's of websites and titles of books to the back of the plaque or the bottom of the fact sheet.
