There was a sea of red at State Street School Friday, February 3, when students and staff dressed in red for national Wear Red Day. Heart disease kills more women than all cancers combined. Juniors inducted into NHS

Juniors who were inducted into NHS posed while at a rehearsal before the induction.

Fifty six Skaneateles High School juniors were inducted into the National Honor Society in a formal ceremony on January 30 in the high school auditorium.
They pledged to uphold the four pillars of NHS – scholarship, leadership, character and service – while lighting candles that represented their membership to the society.

SHS staff and students support WinterFest by giving and by jumping
Skaneateles High School staff and students raised nearly $400 to help a team of teachers take part in the Polar Plunge at Winterfest in Skaneateles on Saturday.

After a morning of intense conversations and activities led by high school students, sixth graders at Skaneateles Middle School recently signed contracts promising to work to combat bullying.
The pledges they signed were personal, because they came up many of the specifics themselves during an annual program called Be Cool Not Cruel.
