SELECT CHOIR
This group is by audition only. Your child shows exceptional vocal skills in order to be a part of this choir.
Select Choir meets every Tuesday throughout the school year during activity period (2:25 - 3:05 pm). Each student is expected to make rehearsal a priority. If there is a need to make up work with another teacher, the student will need to arrange an activity period other than Tuesday afternoons.
Your child has been given a folder with specific music in it. He/she will need to work on this music during the week and bring it in to school for Tuesday's rehearsal. If the student needs extra help learning his/her part, I am available after school. Students can also bring in blank tapes and I will record their part for them.
There is a schedule on the back of this letter. Please make sure that your child has transferred these dates into their school planner or home calendar.

Nov. 3-6 - HS Musical - Seussical, the Musical (if you are not in it, please make sure you go to see it)
Dec. 9-10 - Jr. High All-County Auditions at Westhill HS
Dec. 11 - HS Holiday Choral Concert - 2:00 pm
Dec. 15th - MS Holiday Concert - 7:00 pm
TBA - sometime in December - performance at Fingerlakes Mall with Jazz Band
Friday, Nov. 11th - performance at Fairgrounds (11:00 am?) with Jazz Band
Jan. 21st - Trip to NYC (optional)
Jan. 27-28 - Jr. High All County Festival at Marcellus
Feb. 3-4 - MS Musical 7:30 (if you are not in it, please make sure you go to see it)
Mar. 2-5 - HS Drama Production
Mar. 29th - All District Choral Night - 7:30
April 4th - MS Cabaret - 7:30 pm (cafeteria)
May 3rd - Select Ensemble Concert - 7:30 (St. Mary's of the Lake Church - Skaneateles)
June 1 - MS Concert - 7:00 pm
June 6 - HS Choral Concert - 7:30 pm
