Middle School Jazz Band
Jazz Band is an extra curricular part of the total middle school band program. The band is made up of students who are chosen by audition. Rehearsals are Monday and Friday activity period. The jazz band performs at several functions each year both in school and out of school.

October 24, 2005 - Jr. National Honor Society Induction - Waterman School
November 11, 2005 (tentative) - Jr. League Holiday Shoppes - State Fairgrounds
December, 2005 (tentative) - Performance at Fingerlakes Mall
February 6, 2006 - All County Jazz Auditions at Jamesville-DeWitt HS
February 9, 2006 - Jazz at SCS concert
March 31, April 1, 2006 - All County Jazz Festival
April 4, 2006 - MS Cabaret Concert - Cafeteria
April 27, 2006 - Jazz Nite Out - Marietta House
June 4, 2006 - Hank Bryant Jazz Festival - Gazebo in Skaneateles

Middle School Jazz Workshop
Jazz Workshop is an extra-curricular part of the total middle school band program. The band is made up of any student interested in playing jazz and popular music who is not in Jazz Band. Jazz Band members wishing to learn a secondary instrument are invited to participate in Jazz Workshop. Jazz Workshop performs in 2 or 3 concerts each year.
