The high school band meets every day 1st period and is a 1 credit course. Eighty-five students belong to band this year. There are at least 6 yearly performances. These include:
Fall concert in October
Holiday Concert in December
Band Concert with the Middle School
Band in March
Spring Concert in May
Memorial Day Parade in May
Commencement Exercises in June
Students also elect to perform at All County and NYSSMA Solo Festivals. Each of the last several years we have had students selected for All State.
Other activities include:
Dickens Christmas
Area All State at Ithaca College
N.Y State Lion's Club All State Band.
