Board Appreciation Month: BOE Recognized By Schools at Recent Meeting
At the most recent BOE meeting on October 16, the Board of Education was recognized for its dedication to the District. Each Board member not only received certificates of appreciation, but they were also invited to lunch this fall by groups of students.October is National Board Appreciation Month and next week is Board Appreciation Week and with that we would like to take this opportunity to extend our deepest gratitude and appreciation for the commitment and dedication of the Skaneateles Central Schools Board members:

Our school board members work tirelessly to support our students, staff and family with the only goal of making Skaneateles Schools the best they can possibly be. They are elected by the community to serve as advisors, problem solvers and decision makers – to collaborate with the administration, faculty and community members to ensure the mission and vision of Skaneateles Central Schools are always at the forefront. These community members volunteer countless hours preparing for Board meetings, reading supplemental materials, reaching out to community members, attending school events, and responding to concerns and questions, attending school events and championing the success of all our schools. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a thoughtful and dedicated Board to guide and support Skaneateles Central Schools.
