Skaneateles High School Open House on October 4 - 7pm

SKANEATELES, NY (October 4, 2018) – Skaneateles High School’s annual Open House takes place tonight, beginning at 7 p.m. in your child’s first period class.

Following first period, parents will attend abbreviated classes according to your child’s daily schedule, following an “A” day schedule on our two-day cycle.  The shortened classes are designed to help parents become familiar with the curriculum, methods of evaluation and other course/classroom expectations.

The schedule of classes is as follows:

Period 1: 7-715pm
Period 2: 7:18-7:38pm
Period 3: 7:31-7:41pm
Period 4: 7:44-7:54pm
Period 5/6: 7:57-8:08pm (Ignore lunch)
Period 7: 8:10-8:20pm
Period 8: 8:23-8:33pm
Period 9: 8:36-8:46pm

During study halls or labs, parents may enjoy refreshments and socialize with staff members in the library.  In addition, tables will be set up for you to gather information on a variety of school-wide initiatives and activities, including details on our many BOCES Regional Education Center programs.
