SKANEATELES, NY (March 19, 2018) – Schweinfurth Art Center’s “Both Ends of the Rainbow” exhibit is featuring several pieces of art from various Skaneateles Central School students.

The annual exhibit showcases approximately 1,000 pieces of artwork in total by regional K-12 students.

Located at 205 Genesee St. in Auburn, the Schweinfurth Art Center is a non-profit gallery which offers five exhibitions each year featuring regional, national, and international artists.

This year’s “Both Ends of the Rainbow” exhibit will run through April 8.

An opening reception was held for the exhibit on Sunday, March 18.  Students from Sue Barry’s State Street art classes in 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades had artwork on display as well as students in Jessica Sawchuk’s high school classes.

In addition, there are many pieces of artwork from area senior citizens, which complete the “Both Ends of the Rainbow” exhibit.

The Schweinfurth Art Center is open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
