SKANEATELES, NY (September 19, 2017) – Skaneateles Middle School’s Parent Information Night will be held on Thursday, September 28 at 7 p.m. in the school cafeteria.
Parents and guardians are asked to enter through the Commons, which is the entrance across from the third set of stairs, closest to the high school. Upon entering, there will be tables set-up by grade level with student schedules available, if needed.
The night’s program will begin promptly at 7 p.m. in the cafeteria, with a brief presentation from Superintendent Ken Slentz regarding Project 2021.
The Skaneateles Middle School staff is excited to have parents participate in a “mini school-day schedule,” which will allow parents to meet teachers and experience a day’s routine.
The night will also include a Scholastic Book Fair coordinated by new librarian, Kelly Gunderson, with the Parent Teacher Committee providing refreshments. Both will take place in the library.
Parking will be made available in the upper Middle School parking area, as well as in the Waterman Elementary School parking lot.
Visitors are asked to please not park in the bus loop, as the loop must remain clear for emergency vehicle access. Visitors are also reminded to take note of no parking areas on East Street, as tickets have been issued in the past.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the Middle School office at (315) 291-2241.
District residents are reminded that Project 2021, the district’s proposed capital improvement project, will be up for vote on Tuesday, November 14.
