Math

In Unit 2 we are learning about basic math facts and extensions, problem solving strategies and computational strategies. In Unit 3 we will be very busy learning all about the different ways we can measure and all the fun tools you can use too!

Social Studies

This marking period we are studying Maps and Globes! We will learn about longitude, latitude, the compass rose so much more!

Science

In Science we are learning all about Living Things. We will discover the needs of living things and how they adapt and survive in their environment. We will also learn about food chains and the different types.

Health

In health we are learning about friends and how to be a LAKER! We are learning how to be safe when we ride a bike, get into our car or see a fire. We are making good decisions. We are also learning about our feelings and emotions.

Language Arts

Reading is FUN! We are learning to be good readers and writers. This marking period we are writing friendly letters. We are also learning to use punctuation! We are also learning how to make SUPER SENTENCES!

There is so much to learn when you are in the Third Grade!!!!
