NCAA College-Bound Student-Athlete Eligibility Clearinghouse: www.NCAAClearinghouse.netAn excellent resource for students-athletes, their parents and coaches.  Obtain information regarding rules and eligibility; Division Recruiting; National Letter of Intent/Financial Aid; Core class requirements and more.  Students must register with the NCAA Clearinghouse if they anticpate participating in either a Division I or Division II sport in college.

 

www.planstudent.org - This is a relatively new site designed to help students use  their PLAN results in coursework and career planning.  All students will take the PLAN  in the fall of their Sophomore year and the test serves as a probable estimate of the ACT.

 

CollegeNet:  www.collegenet.com - Use CollegeNET’s five key admissions services to assist with your research and college application process.  Keyword phrases give you the opportunity to access colleges and universities with the characteristics you desire.  Students can also explore a 1.6 billion dollar scholarship database, and tap into other financial aid resources.  

 

www.nycolleges.org - New York’s 100+ private colleges and universities’ admissions and financial aid Web site:  find campus locations; open house dates and special admissions events; search the online database of more than 500 academic programs offered; read campus profiles; request information and more!!

 

www.actstudent.org - ACT’s home page for student-oriented information.  Includes information about ACT registration, test preparation, and the college admissions process.

 

www.mapping-your-future.org - One –stop site for students and parents with information on financial strategies, career options, and college planning.  The site is sponsored by a group of guaranty agencies who participate in the Federal Education Loan Program (FELP).
